About the role…
TheFixed Asset Management Account role within our central finance team is an integral part of the team responsible for and actively contributing towards an efficient and accurate finance function within the company. Providing accurate and up to date monthly reports for the board to ensure capital spend budgets are adhered, and explanations of any over/under spends are provided is a fundamental part of this role. Your primary responsibilities involve,managing and maintain the Fixed Asset records for a portfolio of properties with a value of> £300m. Preparation and maintenance of FAR and reconciliations to trial balance. Liaising with Project Managers controlling the capitalisation of AUC. In addition, you will be required to run depreciation calculations monthly/annually as required and manage any addition, disposals and transfers.
Fixed Assets are an integral part of our business and you will be required to work closely with the other Management Accountants in the business to ensure the accuracy, completeness and validity of monthly management accounts.
About you…
We’re looking for someone who has previously acted in a similar finance role, ideally within a multi-site hospitality environment who is a self-starter and has experience in managing a large FAR. You’ll have good communication, time management and organisational skills. Attention to detail, a robust view on internal financial control and a tenacious nature are also essential aptitudes required to ensure success within the role.
