Our client is recruiting for someone to manage their fleet of vehicles, you don't have to have done fleet management previously we just ask you have relevant administrative experience and the ability to organise effectively and a positive attitude to learn something new!
The successful candidate will be confident in using Excel with strong administration experience.
Job Title:Fleet Administrator
Salary: Up to £28,000
Location: Bagshot, fully office based
Responsibilities:
- Maintain an accurate and up-to-date record of all fleet vehicles, including registration, insurance, and maintenance schedules
- Coordinate vehicle maintenance, repairs, and inspections to ensure the fleet is in optimal condition
- Monitor fuel consumption and implement strategies to reduce costs
- Schedule and track vehicle inspections, emissions testing, and other regulatory requirements
- Oversee the assignment of vehicles to drivers and ensure proper documentation
- Manage the procurement of new vehicles and disposal of retired ones
- Keep up-to-date with relevant industry regulations to ensure compliance
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure the fleet meets expectations
- Maintain relationships with vendors, suppliers, and service providers
Skills and experience:
- Experience in Telematics and Reporting
- A collaborative attitude
- Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities
- Effective communication skills
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite reports, particularly Excel reporting
