Pertemps Isle of Wight have an exciting opportunity for a Front of House Assistant Manager, to join our client, a busy restaurant based in the heart of Cowes.
The role will be offered on a seasonal basis, with the possibility of a permanent position for the right candidate.
The duties will include.
- Managing the front of house team members and assisting them when necessary.
- Taking orders and liaising with the kitchen staff to ensure orders are correct.
- Till operation and cash handling.
- Working behind the bar when needed.
- Report to the management team directly.
The ideal candidate will.
- Be punctual, smart and professional at all times.
- Be supportive and willing to help colleagues and customers.
- Have experience working in a management role as well as hospitality experience.
- Be willing to learn and overcome obstacles as they come by using their own initiative.
The role is based over working 5 days a week; this may include weekend work.
