Location: Based in Wigan / Newton-le-Willows
Role Overview: As a Food Tech Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and informative lessons to students, fostering their creativity and culinary skills. You will play a vital role in shaping the future of our students, providing them with the knowledge and practical experience needed to excel in the field of Food Technology.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver dynamic lessons in accordance with the curriculum.
- Demonstrate practical skills in food preparation and cooking techniques.
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Assess and provide feedback on student progress.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall learning experience.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
- Strong background in Food Technology or related field.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to engage and motivate students of varying abilities.
- Proven track record of effective teaching and learning.
Duration: 6-8 week placement, starting May 10th
