Overview:
We are on the lookout for an enthusiastic Food Technology Teacher to join a vibrant Secondary School in Southampton on a long-term contract, with potential for permanency. You will be responsible for teaching Food Technology to students, contributing to a positive learning environment within a supportive department.
The Role:
- Full-time position, Monday to Friday
- Teaching Food Technology to students
- Planning and delivering engaging lessons suitable for all learners
- Assessing and marking students’ work to track progress
- Upholding the school’s curriculum standards and fostering academic excellence
About the School:
This mixed Secondary School in Southampton caters to students aged 11 to 16. With approximately 1000 students, the school prides itself on its positive reputation and boasts a supportive Senior Leadership Team dedicated to its values. On-site free parking is available for staff.
Requirements:
- Experience teaching Food Technology
- Strong subject knowledge and a commitment to student achievement
- Willingness to obtain an enhanced Child Workforce DBS, if not already on the update service
