Field-Based Forklift Service Engineer

Are you a skilled and experienced Field-Based Forklift Service Engineer with a passion for engineering? Join Jungheinrich, a global leader in material handling equipment and solutions. We are currently looking for a Field-Based Forklift Service Engineer based in the Bristol area to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Repair: Utilize your technical proficiency to diagnose and efficiently repair various forklift models, addressing electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical issues at customer locations.
• Routine Maintenance: Conduct scheduled maintenance on forklifts at customer sites to ensure optimal performance and extend their operational life.
• Troubleshooting: Apply problem-solving skills to identify and resolve issues promptly, minimizing downtime for our clients.
• Safety Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to safety regulations and standards during all on-site repair and maintenance activities, conducting thorough inspections and making necessary adjustments.
• Documentation: Maintain comprehensive records of all service activities, including detailed reports on repairs, inspections, and preventive maintenance, while working remotely.
• Customer Interaction: Collaborate with customers on-site to understand their specific requirements, provide technical support, and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Experience within a Mechanical or electrical engineering role
• Experience with diagnostics
• Familiarity with health and safety standards
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively while in the field.
