SalaryWe are looking for a FP&A Manager to support the Finance Director in driving the company’s financial planning in its next period of growth. As Senior Finance Manager, you will ensure the company’s financial reports are delivered, presented and maintained, in a timely, accurate and relevant manner with the responsibility to oversee both the Assistant Management Accountant and AP/AR teams. The finance department is integral to business operations and as such you will gain broad business knowledge and experience of commercial projects and initiatives at a strategic level.
RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ROLE
Duties
O Manage weekly reporting working closely with Finance Director, Chief Commercial Officer & Editor
O Review Monthly Profit & Loss statements with Editorial and Commercial departmental heads
O Monthly analysis & department performance review
O Supporting Commercial team with analysis & reporting
O Developing and driving annual budget and rolling forecasts
O Analysis of financial information and identification of trends to drive profitability and growth
O Creation & review of Monthly Finance packs for UK Finance Director
O Identifying risks & opportunities
Key Skills
O Qualified Accountant (ACCA/CIMA/ACA)
O Minimum 5 years post qualified experience or similar relevant experience essential
O Several years' experience as FPA (Financial Planning and Analysis) Manager or a commercial finance manager
O Background in Media/publishing preferable
O Working knowledge of all appropriate statutory legislation and regulations
O Commercial and business awareness
O Excel & modelling
O Strong leadership attributes
