Fp&A Accountant

Reed Finance are delighted to be exclusively engaged with one of our key clients to support in securing a strong qualified accountant to join the business on an initial 12-month Fixed Term Contract as a Financial Planning and Analysis Manager.

Reporting directly to the Finance Director, this role is pivotal in a growing business environment. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience in relationship building with non-finance and possess strong financial modelling & analytical skills.

Key Duties

• Taking ownership of the Annual Budget and Quarterly Forecast process, working closely with the Senior Executive team and Finance Director
• Maintaining responsibility for elements of monthly management reporting and analysis
• Enhancing the functionality of the long-term financial model
• Conducting supply chain analysis with a focus on cost reduction in conjunction with operations
• Maintaining the customer and supplier contracts database
• Managing the cash forecasting process
• Providing financial modelling and review for bids as required, in support or conjunction with the financial analyst
• Reviewing major contracts’ commercial terms to ensure compliance
• Performing ad-hoc analysis and financial modelling to support the business’s growth trajectory, focusing on by-product and by-customer profitability analysis

Candidate

• Qualified Accountant with relevant post-qualification experience
• Ability to engage with senior executives and challenge when necessary
• Strong financial modelling skills and sharp analytical abilities
• Proficient in Excel and capable of providing insightful analysis
• Process-oriented with the ability to embrace and drive change to improve processes
