Role Summary
The FP&A manager is responsible for supporting the Head of FP&A with insightful reporting and analysis, highlighting risks and opportunities. The role will assist in taking ownership with the budgeting and forecasting process for specific areas and delivery of monthly financial and non-financial information across the business. As Lotus enters a new ten year planning and business cycle, the Finance department needs to transition from being a predominantly accounting focused organisation to supporting forecasting and decison support through analysis. The role will enable a full overview of the business and provide breath of experience through the various decisions required by the newly formed Global Commercial Team
Responsibilities
- Work with the Finance Business Partners, Budget owners and the Pricing department to deliver insight (both financial and operational) to the executive management group to provide decision support.
- Complete ad-hoc analysis as required and ensure appropriate professional quality of visuals.
- Production of Monthly and Quarterly results pack for all stakeholders, incorporating financial and operational information and commentary.
- Support the process and production of the consolidated annual budget and forecasts, including income statement, balance sheet and cashflow statement.
- Assist with the consolidation of the forecast model for the group, its maintenance and its output incorporating P&L, BS and CF.
- Support the annual business planning cycle (Budget and Forecasts)
- Work closely with Accounting and Treasury teams to ensure alignment of management accounts.
Essential Criteria
CIMA /ACA Qualified
Ability to work to fast deadlines, with attention to detail and a keen eye for maximising visual impact.
Needs to be proactive in driving change.
Reliable, flexible and willing to learn and develop themselves.
Desirable Criteria
Strong A Levels / Degree
Manufacturing or engineering background. Financial analysis and modelling experience
Engineering or manufacturing within Automotive sector preferable.
