We are supporting a leading eCommerce business in their search for a HR Assistant to join their team on a Freelance basis. This person should have atleast 1 years experience in a professional setting, and keen to utilise existing knoweldge whilst learning new skills with a reputable company.
- Address HR inquiries from German-based employees and managers
- Handle administrative personnel tasks, such as preparing employment contracts, amendments, and certificates
- Maintain and update HR records, employee files, reporting, and compliance data (Workday)
- Serve as the primary contact for health insurers and authorities
- Collaborate with other teams (e.g., Talent Engagement, Payroll)
Your Experience
- Preferred: Degree or certificate in Human Resources or related field
- Preferred: 1+ years of HR or recruiting experience
- Experience with personnel information systems (e.g., Workday) and case management systems
- Proficient in written and spoken German and English
- Experience with MS Office, particularly Word and Excel
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, adaptable environment
- Capable of analysing information, diagnosing problems, and recommending solutions
Location: Berlin
Start Date: July 2024
Initial Contract Length: 6 Months
Capacity: 40hrs per week
