London-based Fintech offers a B2B payment solution that exclusively partners with banks and financial institutions to provide a secure, efficient, and cost-effective payment infrastructure. They connect banks to merchants through a secure tokenisation payment process, using Open Banking rails and their own payment network, offering an alternative payment method to the traditional and expensive card schemes.
Our start-up is currently in the development phase and is not yet live. However, we are backed by significant funding and have a team of skilled founders and team members with many years of experience in the fintech space.
They are working diligently to bring their innovative solution to market and are confident in the potential for their product and services to disrupt the industry. Currently they are testing a proof of concept with a couple of clients and has several potential orders when the testing phase is over. This further highlights the level of interest and demand for their offering and demonstrates the potential for the start-up to gain traction in the market once it is launched.
The Opportunity:
We are seeking a talented and passionate Front-End Engineer to join our growing team. You will play a key role in crafting beautiful, intuitive, and highly interactive dashboards for our payment processing platform. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled developer to leverage their expertise in modern web technologies like Vue.js, Nuxt.js, and Tailwind CSS to build user-centric interfaces that empower informed decision-making within the payments industry.
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop interactive dashboards using Vue.js, Nuxt.js, and Typescript.
- Implement data visualisations and charts that effectively communicate complex financial data.
- Craft user-friendly interfaces adhering to accessibility guidelines and best practices.
- Ensure code adheres to secure coding practices and industry compliance standards like PCI-DSS.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (back-end, design, product) to deliver a seamless user experience.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in Front-End technologies and design trends.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience as a Front-End Engineer, with a proven track record of building data-driven dashboards.
- In-depth expertise in Vue.js, Nuxt.js, and Typescript.
- Experience with Tailwind CSS or similar utility-first frameworks.
- Strong understanding of UI/UX design principles and accessibility best practices.
- Experience with building responsive and performant web applications.
- Solid knowledge of secure coding practices and industry compliance standards like PCI-DSS.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to translate complex data into clear visualisations.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- A passion for creating beautiful and user-friendly experiences.
Bonus Points:
- Experience with building dashboards for the payment industry.
- Experience with API integrations and data fetching techniques.
- Knowledge of state management libraries like Pinia.
- Experience with unit testing and automated testing frameworks.
