SalaryWe have an exciting opportunity to join our Front Office Team at The Fife Arms as Front Office Host!
We are looking for enthusiastic individuals with a similar level experience and a passion for excellent hospitality and a desire to develop your skills whilst under the mentorship of our Front Office Manager and the team.
As Front Office Host, you will be responsible for:
- Providing an exceptional guest experience from check-in to check out.
- Positively approaching sales opportunities in order to maximise revenue.
- Making informed recommendations based on in-depth knowledge of the rooms and services of the hotel and using upselling techniques at every appropriate opportunity.
- Supporting a safe working environment by adhering to Health & Safety, Food Hygiene, Fire and Evacuation procedures and Licensing Laws.
- Taking ownership of your personal development enhancing your ability to build knowledge and make informed recommendations.
- Ensuring a presence on the front desk throughout the day.
- Ensuring guests requests are delivered with efficiency and effectivity.
- Ensuring that public areas are maintained clean, neat, and tidy.
- Working cohesively with the management team to achieve out shared goals.
- Engaging with the Reception, Reservations, and the Housekeeping team.

Our successful Front Office Host will have:
- Proven experience from within a similar hospitality environment.
- Experience with Opera and Simphony.
- The enthusiasm and willingness to learn.
- A thorough understanding of Health & Safety and COSHH.
- Initiative, emotional intelligence and strong communication and organisation skills.
- The ability to work under pressure.
- A passion and ambition to deliver exceptional experiences.
- A willingness to work to the high standards that are demanded from a luxury establishment.
