Functional Consultant - MS Dynamics 365
We are currently seeking a skilled Functional Consultant specialised in MS Dynamics 365 to join our team for a 6-month contract. This role is entirely remote and falls outside IR35, with a requirement for BPSS clearance.
As a Functional Consultant, you will play a crucial role in gathering and analysing business requirements to devise solutions that streamline and modernise processes, thereby enhancing return on investment while adhering to industry standards. You will be instrumental in implementing and configuring MS Dynamics 365 applications to meet specific business needs, focusing on either customer engagement or finance and operations areas, with the possibility of further specialisation in certain feature sets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into functional specifications.
- Implement and configure MS Dynamics 365 applications according to the defined requirements, ensuring solutions are optimised for efficiency and sustainability.
- Manage data migration processes, test configurations, and support post-implementation activities to ensure smooth transition and operation.
- Utilise Microsoft Dynamics 365 Lifecycle Services, Power Platform admin centre, Microsoft Azure DevOps, and other Microsoft tools for effective application lifecycle management (ALM).
- Integrate Dynamics 365 with Power Platform solutions, external systems, and tools as required for comprehensive project execution.
- Stay updated with the latest Dynamics 365 capabilities and industry practises to continually enhance solution offerings.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate:
- Robust experience in implementing and configuring MS Dynamics 365 applications, with a strong foundation in either customer engagement or finance and operations domains.
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Dynamics 365 Lifecycle Services, Power Platform admin centre, and Microsoft Azure DevOps for ALM processes.
- An analytical mindset with the ability to tackle complex problems and translate business requirements into effective solutions.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills to collaborate effectively with team members and clients.
- A commitment to continuous learning and staying abreast of the latest technological advances and industry practises.
