Our client has an excellent opportunity for a Gas Engineer to join their team to assist in the delivery of a high quality gas servicing and breakdown service to their properties or managed contracts.

The role

Along with carrying out repairs to gas appliances, you will undertake services of gas appliances, carry out gas safety checks and produce electronic gas safety documentation, all to an excellent standard in order to exceed customer expectations. You will complete repairs outside of normal working hours, evenings and weekends on a rota basis.

As their Gas Engineer you will carry out all duties in line with Gas Safe and Health & Safety Regulations whilst adhering to the Safe Systems of Work specified in their safety policy.

About you

With experience in a similar role and a knowledge of health and safety, you will hold a City and Guilds Gas Service Engineer qualification or equivalent with current ACS Certificates.

You will also need to hold the following current elements in ACS:

Cooker - CKR1

Fire - HTR1

Gas Boiler - CEN1

Pipework - CCN1

Water Heater - WAT1

Flue Gas Analyser - CAP1

You will also need to have a full driving licence (vehicle will be provided) and be prepared to work at various locations within the Bromsgrove and surrounding district.
