Platform Property Care has a great opportunity for a Gas Engineer Service to join us on a Part Time, Permanent contract. You will work 8 hours on a Monday and there may be an opportunity to earn additional income from working on the out of hours rota. This role is based in Worcester and the surrounding areas.
What could you be doing?
From completing Landlord Gas Safety records to basic repairs, we need you to help us keep our homes up to temperature.
The role is varied and no two days are the same! It's a tough task and our expectations are high. In return you’ll have the support of a great team!

A team player, you’ll be hard working and keen to learn with a can-do attitude. You’ll be working in people’s homes, so you’ll need to be friendly and approachable with good communication skills. You’ll also need to be organised and recognise the importance of delivering good customer service.
You will be joining an excellent team who are passionate about putting Customers first and who really do make a difference to our Customers’ lives.
Take Matt & Sam, two of our Gas Engineers. They helped a vulnerable & blind customer with their heating system controls in a truly inventive way. The customer had struggled for years to control their heating system as they're unable to see the controls. To combat this, they sourced and installed a voice activated heating controls/programmer. This was life changing for this customer and all down to Matt and Sam bringing their best to work.
Some things we need from you
- Sound experience and be ACS qualified with CCN1, CKR1, HTR1, CEN1 (or CENWAT), and CPA1.
- NVQ Level 2 Plumbing/ Heating/ Ventilation is essential
- You will be a good communicator and have the ability to work well with customers and other trades.
- Full driving Licence
- As you will be working within Customer’s homes this role requires a DBS check.
- This patch covers the West Midlands area and North Worcestershire. Ideally candidates will need to live within this area.
There is also the opportunity to earn additional from being on the out of hours rota as required.
