General Assistant

The role will be based at the NSPCC National Training Centre in Leicester, as part of the Premises team, you will ensure that the venue is a centre of excellence for child protection training and provides a purpose-built conference, training and meeting venue for NSPCC staff and external organisations. The centre provides a base for professional staff providing child protection training, consultancy, e -learning and for the Child Protection in Sport Unit.

You will work with the Premises team to:
Ensure the training centre is a clean and welcoming for all our visitors
Cleaning and setting up of the conference rooms
Cleaning Office space and Tenants rooms
Assist the catering assistant in delivering refreshments and lunches to our visitors
Building relationships with our visitors and tenants
Is this the perfect role for you?
Your hours of work will be 9.00-5.00pm, Monday to Friday, but must be flexible to work evenings and weekends if required. The centre is only open 4 to 5 weekends in a year.
When the Premises Officer is on holiday you will need to work 7.00-3.00pm.
As a key holder you will need to open and lock the building when required.
