This is a hybrid position, primarily remote, but requires several in-person meetings each month in London.

Our client a fast expanding and developing not for profit UK's Young People Academy are looking for a General Manager.
The Role of General Manager
The academy focuses on inspiring 13-17 year olds in the world of business and inspire entrepreneurialism. In this role, you will engage in close collaboration with our founder during in-person meetings in London, alongside working with our team remotely.
Responsibilities
Assist with content creation and LMS roll out. Liaise with our development team to streamline content and work with the developers to get the LMS (leaner management system) up and running from a back end and front end perspective.
Administration set up: Liaise with founding board, external suppliers and stakeholders to establish the requirements to set up a functioning back office. This includes liaising with solicitors, regulators and external parties to ensure we have all of the required processes, documentation and safeguarding procedures in place.
Strategic Partnerships: Identify, establish, and manage strategic partnerships aligned with our vision and goals with key stakeholders, fostering collaborations and mutually beneficial relationships that balance community and commerciality. Negotiate and finalise partnership agreements to leverage resources and expand our reach. Contribute to the strategic direction of the platform, leveraging insights and partnerships to drive growth and user satisfaction. Identify, establish, and manage strategic partnerships with academy organisations, influencers, and key stakeholders. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment of partnerships with the organisation's vision and goals.
Marketing: Design and execute effective marketing strategies to promote the academy platform. This includes brainstorming viral marketing concepts and implementing growth techniques. This includes liaising with graphic designers, content creators, marketers etc to develop our brand.
Management: Lead a team dedicated to community engagement, providing leadership, guidance and support to achieve community-oriented goals. Set clear objectives, provide mentorship, and foster a collaborative and innovative team culture. Coordinate efforts with other teams to align community strategies with overall business objectives.
Leadership: Collaborate closely with the founding team and advisory board to create and develop strategies that help and support our objectives.
