German Speaking Business Travel Consultant
German speaking Corporate Travel Consultant required for a large successful travel company based in Manchester
Seeking Travel consultants that have experience in Corporate travel, Business Travel or other travel with GDS experience in either Amadeus , Galileo or Sabre
Working Monday to Friday , servicing a mixture of corporate accounts for this travel management company.
Fluent German Speaking Business Travel Consultant will

• Book travel arrangements to include hotels, flights and transportation using a GDS system
• Resolve problems related to reservations, wait-listing, seat selection, upgrades as needed
• Deal with reissues, schedule changes and amendments to flights
• Respond to customer inquiries for timetables, fares, hotels and tickets
• Build and maintain excellent customer relationships
• Manage customised solutions with clients and partners.
  

Fluent German speaking Business Travel ConsultantSkills required

• Working knowledge of a GDS, either Amadeus, Galileo or Sabre
• Business Travel, corporate travel, or leisure travel reservations experience
• Fluent German and English
• Experience of booking net and / or published fares ideally
• A team player, with strong communication skills, thrive in a social environment.
• Able to train in Manchester for 4 days

Fluent German speaking Business Travel Consultant additional info:

• Paying a salary of up to £31,000 depending on experience
• Commissions scheme of around £2000 - £4000 a year although is uncapped - paid monthly
• Homeworking may be considered too for this role depending on experience
• Excellent benefits on offer to include private healthcare, life assurance, option to buy or sell annual leave, pension, discounted staff travel
• 31.5 days holiday (inclusive of Bank holidays)
• Office based in Manchester or Hybrid or homeworking available following training
