SalaryStar Actuarial is currently working with a major insurer in seeking a qualified GI actuary with significant pricing or reserving experience.
This is an excellent opportunity for the right candidate to develop their career within a leading business where you will be consistently encouraged and supported to maximise your potential.
Working closely with the wider Pricing team, you will help to shape the future path of pricing by integrating models into customer rating across the product range.
You will also build an automated process to project claims to ultimate using best practice techniques, including developing a claims monitoring process.
In addition, you will work with the Technical Pricing teams to ensure the technical premium models reflect the latest view of risk.
Ideally, you'll have previous experience with insurance products, although candidates from other backgrounds will be considered.
You'll also have previous exposure to the use of Machine Learning modelling techniques in an insurance setting.
