Ryder Reid Legal are looking to recruit an experienced and talented Director of Business Development to join one of our prestigious, International Law Firm clients on a permanent, hybrid working basis at their London office, based near Liverpool St. While the ideal candidate would be based in the London office, they would be responsible for multiple Business Development departments across our clients offices in both Europe and Asia. The ideal candidate must have around fifteen years experience in Business Development, and it is imperative that they are a strong, visible presence on our clients BD & Marketing team.
A list of general duties includes, but are not limited to:
Collaborate closely with BD Managers to communicate support firmwide Business Development strategies across the London, Berlin, Brussels, Singapore, Shanghai, Beijing, Hong Kong & Tokyo offices.Proactively build lists of Business Development and Marketing targets and ensure the BD departments pursue them across the firms multiple offices.Ensure maximum Business Development benefit of secondments, by ensuring that the BD team checks in and liaises regularly with secondees regarding BD efforts.Contribute to Business Development industry efforts and provide insight to take across both the Europe and Asia regions.Develop programs to deliver value to our clients alumni across both regions.Evaluate existing Business Development strategies for their return on investment improve those strategies based on research and analysis.Providing day-to-day management of the Business Development team in Europe and Asia, such as guidance and workload & resource management.Ensure the proper training is provided to all members of the Business Development team and the teams are structured effectively.Provide supportive coaching and insight by setting challenging team goals and helping develop the skills of team members.Collaborate closely with functional marketing specialists in public relations & events.
