We’re looking for a Global Head ofListed/OTC Derivatives Clearing Technology to:

This is a critical role to delivery UBS Global clearing business strategy and involves transformation of our core services as well as the replacement and or upgrade of our Middle and Back office platforms
We’re looking for a Global Head ofListed/OTC Derivatives Clearing Technology to:
- own together with the Crew Product Lead the overall quality of the crew’s products (central counterparty trade clearing, trade allocation, books & records and reporting) including their operational health, client and internal user satisfaction, and the delivery of valuable outcomes.
- ensure best-in-class technical delivery of a family of products enabling excellent client journeys throughout their lifecycle.
- co-design the crew's long-term vision, mission, strategy and quarterly objectives and key results as well as representing the crew in the quarterly business review.
- operate as a strong local and global team-player with experience working in a dynamic organization and able to build bridges between different stakeholders within the organization
- lead the crew in agile practices, empowering and developing crew members, and striving for continuous improvement whilst making space for learning and innovation.
- manage stakeholders and take ownership of technical escalations, working to resolve issues, remove impediments and make the necessary technical improvements.
- build and foster a constructive partnership with key 3rd party vendors with regular engagement to ensure the service offering remains robust, stable and reliable
- align with 3rd party vendors including FIS on key platform priorities for improvements and enhancements, including market and regulatory mandatory deliveries
- line manage the global chapter leads, grow, hire and upskill the technical capability of the Clearing Crew
- partner closely with the Crew Product Lead, architects and control functions and collaborates across streams and divisions.

In our agile operating model, Crews are aligned to larger products and services fulfilling client needs and encompass multiple autonomous Pods. You’ll be leading the Financing Clearing Crew, focusing on the delivery of next generation Clearing products as well as the continued operation of the existing FIS ClearVision / GMI based applications.
The IB Financing technology team provides solutions to the Prime Brokerage, Equity Swaps, Stock Loan and Clearing businesses, as well as the aligned Quant, Counterparty Risk and Margin functions. Listed/OTC Derivatives Clearing is a core business service, and the Clearing Crew has many touchpoints with IB Financing to deliver successful client outcomes.
The team is global, located in the UK, US, Poland and India

Your expertise
- strong technology leadership skills including several years of hands on technical experience to lead the delivery of best in class products
- up to date with emerging technologies, open source, open standards and new practices, recognizing and realizing opportunities to enhance our technical approach
- strong business domain knowledge of exchange traded derivatives, Middle/Back offices managing stakeholders in front office and operations
- outstanding leadership skills promoting a diverse, inclusive and motivating environment for employees with autonomy to deliver, mastery of skills and purposeful work
- knowledgeable on information security, technology risks, operational resilience and automation, ensuring our technology meets non-functional requirements and complies with expected standards
- multi-years of experience managing a significant budget and team size of 50+
- ability to drive change across the organization and influence key stakeholders
- the Clearing Crew are delivering cloud based (Microsoft Azure) applications, so relevant knowledge of Azure services such as Azure Kubernetes Service, Databricks Spark would be advantageous
- Operational and management experience of vendor products such as Clearvision, GMI or equivalent would be advantageous
