This international non-profit organisation based in London is an industry leader when it comes to setting the standards for sustainable fishing. They work with various fishery companies globally, recognising and rewarding efforts to protect oceans and safeguard seafood supplies.
Your new role
A 12-14 month maternity cover role, this position will provide essential HR support to the organistions European and AMESA workforces, with key responsibilities including:

• Supporting hiring managers with attracting top talent to their teams through the creation of engaging job descriptions and adverts, advising on how to access suitable candidates, and where necessary participating in interviews
• Leading on the thorough review of all payroll data (monthly), taking into account the various nuances that come with international payroll, before passing to external payroll suppliers to execute
• Act as the first point of contact for European & AMESA staff and managers, providing expert advice on policies & process, employee relations, and all stages of the employee lifecycle
• Work closely with the wider HR team on integral projects (as needed), as well as provide quarterly and ad-hoc people reports

What you\'ll need to succeed
To be considered for this role, the organisation is looking for exceptional candidates with:

• Significant experience providing expert, hands-on HR support at management level
• Experience working with international teams, with excellent knowledge of international (European) payroll
• Excellent knowledge of European employment law
• Demonstrable experience with diverse recruitment methods, writing and introducing people policies, and maintaining strong relationships with various stakeholders
• Fluent in a foreign (European) language is desirable

What you\'ll get in return
