We have a fantastic opportunity for a Golf Sales Executive to work in our dynamic Sales team at The Belfry, England's leading Hotel and Resort. We have 320 bedrooms, 2 Rosette standard dining, five food and beverage outlets, fantastic leisure facilities including our 20 treatment rooms & pool and of course, what we are famous for...golf. We have an exciting year ahead at The Belfry as we continue with our extensive expansion and refurbishment, and we will be hosting The British Masters in August 2024.

The Sales Team

Salary
The on-target earning potential for this role is 22,914.00 annual salary, compromising of a base salary of 21,914.00 plus a qualified estimate of 1000.00 gratuities per annum
About the role:
As a Golf Sales Executive your role is to sell, manage and upsell The Belfry's golf facilities to their full potential, maximizing all revenue opportunities to grow green fee and resort revenue, achieving targets and building client relationships.
You will also be responsible for:
The coordination of all event details prior to the event taking place.
Proactive calling of lapsed business, new sales leads, monthly challenge targets
Assisting with monthly sales reports to ensure that these are filled in by the deadline.
Ensuring SOP procedures are maintained to ensure cancellation charges are retrieved
Ensuring all group business is contracted and in line with the company SOP
Assist with the daily business review to include events entered, status change, cancellation and turn-down
Ensuring Incoming enquiries are priced according to the availability and demand of the golf course along with overall hotel demand.
Assisting with the development of golf offering and rates for residential golf business
Assisting with conducting regular competitor analysis to within the following sectors
Conduct client show rounds and maximising revenue
Handle all telephone enquiries in accordance to the 59Club Test call crib sheet and SOP
Assist in managing and development of the golf database
About you
The ideal candidate will have a good knowledge of golf and can play at a good level, so they can advise clients when making sales.
In addition, you will be:
Methodical - accurate and able to work on own initiative, with outstanding attention to detail.
Excellent with both verbal and written communication skills.
Computer literate, with experience of hotel PMS. i.e. Delphi & Opera.
Sales focused and enthusiastic, with excellent customer service skills.
Flexible and capable of working well within a team.
