Governance & Executive Support Manager

RM Recruit Ltd is working in partnership with a West Midlands based Housing Association who are seeking a Governance & Executive Support Manager to join them on a permanent basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to showcase your Governance skills whilst working closely with the Board, SLT and the CEO .

Main duties include:

• Delivering Governance activities including Board and Committee support and company secretarial support
• Working collaboratively with the Board, Committees and Executive team to facilitate a Governance culture that enables the delivery of key objectives through compliance with relevant legal and regulatory requirements via appropriate governance framework.
• Providing a high-level confidential Executive Assistant service to the CEO
• Leading and being responsible for all of Governance including updating & reviewing Governance policies in line with frameworks, policy and the regulator.
• Managing the organisation's Governance structure, managing the planning of Board and Committee work, ensuring Governance compliance with related codes of practice, regulation, and legislation
• Providing good Governance and compliance within required standards by providing advice and guidance to the CEO and Board.
• To provide a quality service to Board and CEO including minute taking
• Advising Board and CEO of any changes in legislation or by the regulator
• Managing of registers, fraud and maintaining and managing risk register
• Ensuring records are up to date including improvement plans
• Reviewing policy and maintenance of the register

As the ideal candidate, you will possess, similar experience ideally gained within a Housing Association setting however, applicants from outside of the sector will certainly be considered.
