Design and Marketing Assistant - Financial Services - Salary £23,000 - £25,000 DOE + Excellent Benefits

Based: Farnborough, Hampshire / Hybrid Working

Our client, a leading Financial Services Company, are looking for a Graphic Design and Marketing Graduate who is looking for their first or second job role post University, working within a professional service, in-house environment to join their marketing team, handling graphic Design and a variety of marketing tasks.

The role is split between design tasks (up to 60%) and other marketing activities (approx. 40%), which include drafting content, delivering marketing campaigns and working with internal stakeholders.

The role will report to the Head of Marketing, with two other colleagues in the team, a Marketing Campaigns Manager and a Senior Marketing Executive.

Key Job Responsibilities:

• Design and develop visually engaging content across various marketing channels.
• Including digital materials, email marketing, website, interactive pdf’s, client newsletters, printed material, business development materials, videos, brochures, magazines, flyers, posters etc.
• As the brand guardian you will ensure all communications are in line with brand guidelines.
• Updating existing materials in accordance with annual reviews and Compliance expiries
• Working with external Design and print houses and managing delivery of marketing outputs
• Build and delivery of digital marketing campaigns and communications, e.g. website updates, webinars, videos, client newsletters/magazine, email marketing, social media
• Assist with renewal / updates of marketing materials
• Draft, edit and proof marketing content
• Co-ordinating delivery of materials including management of internal stakeholders

Candidate Skills and Experience required:

• Qualified to degree level or equivalent in a Marketing or Design qualification, ideally with 12 months experience in a professional services workplace post study.
• Ability to thrive in a fast paced, deadline driven team environment with shifting priorities
• Excellent judgement of content and design in relation to branding, and good attention to detail
• Knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud / InDesign /Illustrator /Photoshop /Acrobat /Premier Pro (desirable)
• MS Office /Microsoft Word / Microsoft PowerPoint / Microsoft Excel
• Desirable to have knowledge of marketing activities and how marketing operates within a financial services business
• An organised, self-starter with good planning and co-ordination skills, able to multi-task and work to deadlines
• Excellent communication skills, able to communicate effectively and positively influence internal stakeholders
