I am working with a leading education trust based in the centre of Cambridge. They are looking for a 1st line support engineer to join their established team. The ideal candidate will have a degree in a Technology related subject or a minimum of 1 year experience within an IT related role. Furthermore, if you are looking to learn and develop whilst on the job this would the ideal opportunity for a dedicated and enthusiastic individual.
Responsibilities
- First port of call for any IT related incidents
- Assist pupils and staff with connectivity issues.
- Resolve both basic hardware and software related issues.
- Knowledge of Office 365 and Google Workspace
- Manage user accounts with back-ups and password resets.
Key Skills
- Knowledge of Windows, OSX & iOS clients
- Knowledge of Microsoft 365 administration
- Knowledge of cyber security product configuration for client devices
- Good troubleshooting and fault-finding skills (networks, hardware, OS and applications)
- Knowledge of IP wired and wireless networks.
