SalaryI am working with a Property/Construction company looking to hire anGroup Assistant Accountant. This is an exciting opportunity for someone studying their ACCA/CIMA.
�? Hybrid: 3 days in 2 from home
?? Salary: Up to £35,000
?? Location: City of London
What can you expect?
- Processing purchase invoices via the order system.
- Managing the Accounts Payable inbox.
- Calculating & raising sales invoices.
- Executing monthly payment runs (BACS, CHAPS, Euro, etc.)
- Conducting monthly bank reconciliations in various currencies.
- Timely issuance of sales invoices, both external and intra-group.
- Posting and reconciling inter-group trading transactions monthly.
- Maintaining PL reconciliation sheets for group/project companies daily.
- Assisting in quarterly VAT return estimations.
- Contributing to quarterly and year-end budgeting and forecasting.
- Engaging in the year-end closing process.
- Generating ad-hoc financial analyses as needed.
- Supporting Project Accountants/Finance Managers in quarter-end closing activities (accruals, prepayments, etc.)
- Aiding in the preparation of board reports and model updates.
- Investigating and resolving internal or external inquiries.
- Data entry work.
What can you bring?
- Actively studying and in the early stage of ACCA/CIMA.
- Experience within a Construction/ Property industry.
- Have a strong eye for detail/accuracy.
- Have a solid understanding of double entry.
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong organisational skills with ability to multi-task and prioritise.
- Able to work under pressure and deliver to agreed deadlines with attention to detail.
- Excellent working knowledge of Excel.
- Experience in Infor SunSystems preferred.
