A legal services company is looking for a Group Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Manager to join their HR team in London/Jersey for a 12 month FTC.
A global, people-centric company is seeking a proactive DEI Leader to champion inclusivity and support leadership to establish more DEI focused processes and strategies. This 12-month fixed term role, reporting to the Group HR Director and Global Managing Partner in Jersey, offers the chance to spearhead global DEI initiatives.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in leading DEI efforts within medium to large professional services firms. You'll need to effectively engage senior management, present at board level, and collaborate across diverse jurisdictions.
This role is hybrid and paying up to £80K for a 12 month FTC.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- You'll take on the role of co-sponsoring and providing expertise for the global mentoring initiative launch, collaborating closely with the project management team and external supplier.
- Chair DEI steering group meetings, setting agendas, and monitoring progress across initiatives.
- You'll oversee the global engagement survey process, consulting stakeholders on questions, driving participation, and analysing results to recommend short, medium, and long-term actions.
- Your responsibility will be to develop and implement new global policies and procedures, focusing on inclusive recruitment and leadership practices.
- You'll lead change programmes aimed at enhancing inclusive recruitment and leadership standards.
- Managing the group DEI budget and actively promoting engagement through the return-to-work channel on Teams will also be part of your role
Key Requirements Include:
- Confident and organised, with the ability to engage in challenging conversations and make prompt decisions
- Proven experience leading DEI initiatives in medium to large professional services firms
- Skilled in collaborating with senior stakeholders and presenting innovative proposals
- Comfortable working within tight deadlines and managing multiple global stakeholders
