£50,000- 65,000 (depending on experience) + 26 days holiday, enhanced contributory pension and more!

A leading UK based business in Reading is looking for a Group Financial Accountant.

This is a fast paced and visible role which will see you engage with various stakeholders and take a lead role in external reporting for the business.

Group Financial Accountant – The Role

• Leading and project management the delivery of the financial sections and associated documentation for the Annual Performance Report
• Building expert knowledge of the business units and their financial performance
• Developing best practice process and procedures around our external regulatory reporting
• Advising stakeholders of financial reporting requirements set by the regulator
• Supporting ad hoc projects such as liquidation of entities, controls enhancement and preparation of new accounting requirements
• Key contact for regulator and audit queries

Group Financial Accountant – The Person

• Qualified ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent
• Strong communicator and relationship builder
• A growth mindset
• Experience of working to tight deadlines
• Experience using either SAP, Anaplan or HFM would be helpful, but not essential

Group Financial Accountant – The Package

• Salary £50,000 - £65,000 (depending on experience)
• 26 days annual leave, increasing with service
