Valeo is seeking a seasoned human resources professional for the role of Group HR Business Partner. The Group HR Business Partner position is a new role, reporting directly into Group Chief People Officer, working closely with the Corporate Functional Directors (Executive Team) and their teams as well as the Group Head of Reward and Head of Talent.
To support Valeo’s transformation journey, we are growing our central team to drive global synergy initiatives, build excellence and standardized best practices across the group and set Valeo up for further growth in the coming years.
The Group HR Business Partner will be key in supporting the central capability building and resourcing requirements as well as securing ongoing development and coordination of people processes for the group functions. Due to the company’s transformation agenda this is an exciting role with significant amount of change and impact.
Key Responsibilities
Talent Management:
o Partner with management to identify current and future talent needs.
o Develop and implement talent acquisition and retention strategies.
o Support recruitment and onboarding of talent into the business.
o Drive talent management and succession planning processes for central functions.
Performance Management:
o Implement performance management processes to drive employee development.
o Support management in addressing performance issues in their teams.
Organizational Development:
o Drive initiatives to enhance organizational effectiveness.
o Facilitate change management processes when necessary.
HR Policy and Compliance:
o Maintain employee handbook, develop relevant policies and procedures.
o Ensure compliance with labour laws and company policies.
o Provide guidance on HR-related legal matters.
Employee Engagement:
o Develop and implement programs to enhance employee engagement.
o Conduct surveys and analyse data to assess and improve the employee experience.
Training and Development:
o Identify training needs and coordinate learning and development programs.
o Foster a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.
Remuneration
o Advise managers on remuneration matters.
o Drive annual pay review for central functions.
o Provide input for monthly payroll on employee & remuneration changes.
o Secure enrolment in employee benefits schemes as appropriate.
Data Management & Technology
o Maintains all head office employee records.
o Applies systems and technology to drive people processes efficiently.
o Secures data privacy throughout all people processes.
Employee Relations:
o Address employee relations issues in a timely and effective manner.
o Provide guidance and support to managers on employee-related matters.
