Group Internal Auditor

My client are an AIM listed organisation and have over 100 years' experience in providing financial services solutions their clients. Jefferson Tiley is assisting them in the critical recruitment of an Internal Auditor to join their Buckinghamshire offices. This a hybrid role with 3 days a week in the office.
This role is a mixture of financial and operational audit, and you will operate in a stand-alone capacity.
As an Internal Auditor, your remit will be to create and manage the end-to-end internal auditing process and programs, managing timelines, and using your organisation and facilitation skills. The role is varied, and you will get involved with IT, operations, and finance. It is an excellent opportunity to learn and develop your Internal Audit experience.
Stakeholder interaction will be critical as part of this process and so ideally, you will have a background that demonstrates how you have built and maintained senior management relationships previously.
A small amount of UK travel will be necessary in the role as you seek to build relationships with Senior Stakeholders across the Group, but this will be no more than 10-15% level.
The successful applicant will be qualified: ACCA/ACA/CIMA/CIA/CMIIA or equivalent.
Thie Internal Auditor role offers an excellent opportunity for the right person. You will need to be able to learn, be flexible, quickly gain an understanding of the businesses, and will have regular contact with senior management throughout the Group.
£50-55k base + strong benefits package
