Group Leader - Operations Control
AWE is recruiting for a Group Leader within a large manufacturing Technology Centre, accountable for the business management and total integration of Operations and Capital Investment to ensure capability availability for UK’s national deterrence mission.

The successful candidate will be required to:
- Agree a programme of work with internal and external customers, and ensure that priorities are agreed, planned, and resourced accordingly.
- Lead the Operations Control Team to manage and control the order book, all materials, plans and schedules, and financial budgets and reports.
- Ensure that a Single Order Book is maintained which is resourced, costed and deliverable.
- Establishment of budgets to meet the running of the Tech Centre and to maintain investment in the capability.
- Engaging, motivating, leading coaching, and developing leaders and team members and holding them to account.
- Maintain and promote high personal standards in environment, safety, health, security, and quality and be a great team player.
- Additional accountabilities for this job profile may be defined and appointed through the Chief Engineer Management Arrangements, with appointees listed within the Company Design Authorities and Technical Authorities, as held in the company management system.
