Main Purpose of the Role
This is an exciting opportunity within an established but expanding area of our Business, this position will play a pivotal role in achieving our growth plans. Reporting to the Director of Employability and Skills, you will be responsible for identifying and developing strategic business relationships with National and local employers, schools, and potential commercial partners within or linked to education and learner progression. You will identify and create sustainable partnerships that contribute to the business’ overall growth strategy. You will build and sustain professional and effective relationships both at an operational and strategic level allowing you to build a pipeline and target list to achieve monthly targets, key performance indicators and the ambitious expansion plans for the business division.
You will be responsible for effectively managing and supporting the recruitment team to ensure staff are maximising their potential, and that everyone is working together to achieve the best outcome for SCL and our learners. The Head of Commercial will work closely with the Centre Principals in ensuring that all partners are kept up to date with students’ progress and attendance. This includes ensuring that partners are fulfilling their contract obligations and KPI’s in relation to supporting and encouraging students to successfully achieve.
