Job Title: Head of Commercial Finance
Salary: £80k - £100k+ bonus + wider benefits
Location: West London - 100% office based
Our client is a multinational conglomerate with a turnover of over £2bn. In order to support future growth and increase the capabilities of the finance department, they now have an exciting opportunity for a motivated Head of Commercial Finance.
The successful candidate will be accountable for the supervision of the commercial Finance/Business Partners Team of 10 and fully accountable for driving the business from Commercial Finance perspective and managing the relationships with all the internal parties i.e. Sr Management/Departmental leads.
Responsibilities:
- Responsibility for the reporting of management information measuring business performance and driving "Actionable Objectives" for the business
- Prepare board and executive committee packs, providing in depth commercial performance analysis to management on a weekly/monthly basis against expectations for future management’s review and strategic planning.
- Business Partnering with Trading/Operations/Sales/Logistics and other business functions on a day to day basis to make commercially smart decisions
- Annual Budget and monthly rolling forecast reporting
- Managing relationship with the Group finance team and Exec Team sharing in depth up to date business performance and KPI reporting
- To deputise for the Head of/finance director as required
- Motivating and personal development of the Commercial Finance team of 10
- Any other duties appropriate to the role
Qualifications/Experience:
- ACA, CPA, ACCA, CIMA or (or equivalent)
- Experienced in Commercial Reporting / FP&A, with at least 5-7 years of proven commercial experience
- Strong understanding and proven experience of FP&A function.
- Strong interpersonal, communication and engagement skills
- IT confident with experience of several systems
- Experience of managing multiple key stakeholders
- Absorb and summarise complex or diverse information
- Ability to work under pressure and plan ahead
- Experience of working in a dynamic fast-paced organisation
