Head Of Commercial Finance

Stanton House are partnering with a private equity backed Technology business who are a leading player in the cybersecurity world and are looking to hire a Head of Commercial Finance.

This is a great opportunity for a driven Head of Commercial Finance to come in and join a team where your voice is heard, and change is driven- you will have the chance to have your say and support decision making across the business. With a broad range of responsibilities, this role is crucial in driving the growth strategy forward, focusing on Commercial Finance and performance management.

In order to succeed in this role;

• Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
• The ability to coach, develop and build high performing teams
• A strong commercial acumen and demonstrable business partnering experience whereby you can build strong, professional relationships across the business and influence thinking across all levels of the business
• Excellent analytical skills to be able to interpret financial results, spotting trends and recommendations
• Be a self-starter who is driven and able to identify improvement ideas and follow through on implementing them.
• Demonstrate strong Excel and PowerPoint abilities, excellent planning and organisation, and show a broad interest in systems.

Responsibilities shall include but not be limited to;

• To business partner with the executive team, providing them with commercial support in order to drive financial performance
• Managing and developing the team of finance professionals
• Supporting the sales team to maximise growth and profitability
• Provide commercial insight and challenge to the business units strategy and initiatives
• A key decision maker in implementing new strategies and procedures
• Plan and forecast revenue and costs, improving efficiency in the process
