Head Of Fp&A/Commercial Finance

My client, based in Reading, is looking to recruit a qualified accountant for this Head of FP&A/Commercial Finance role. The role focuses on the production of management reports, financial planning and analysis, budgeting and forecasting and the organisation has a hybrid working model.

The main duties are focused on working with the wider business and providing valuable guidance on finance-related matters. You will own relationships with various stakeholders and advise them on the implications of operational decisions. You will support them with their budgets, and you will look at the costs of providing the service to the clients.

Reporting to the CFO, you will be encouraged to focus on improving processes and procedures, and to further develop the part that finance plays in the future success of the organisation.

Duties include:

• Supporting commercial decision making

The successful candidate will be a qualified accountant. They will have the ability to forge relationships with non-finance managers and explain complex accounting to senior operational staff. They will have strong analytical skills and advanced systems knowledge. They will have a track record of leading change and improving processes and procedures.
