Are you ready for the next step in your career? Due to the retirement of our current post holder we have an exciting opportunity for a new Head of Education Support at Lincolnshire County Council.
About the Role
The Head of Education Support is a member of the Senior Leadership Team within Lincolnshire's Children's Services. This role requires a skilled and highly motivated individual who is able to oversee, interact and manage a number of important workstreams that support the education system across the County.
You will be key in leading a number of these areas including admissions, attendance, pupil place planning and capital programmes that support the wider system. Your ability to work with education settings and be an effective communicator will be imperative in building relationships at scale and being able to maintain high levels of partnership working on safeguarding matters. You will also provide strong leadership to the teams within your scope, including a high performing and well regarded Music Service.
About You
You will be a motivational, experienced leader and an inspirational communicator, who is able to manage multiple priorities and is open to leading on new pieces of work.
Good written and verbal skills along with political awareness is important, as is a structured and methodical approach. Excellent knowledge of relevant legislation and guidance is also crucial to the success of this role.
