• Head of English will work in an Akk-Through School in Barnet with a ‘Good’ from Ofsted
• Great transport links (school is based on the Northern Line), and on-site parking
• Gain access to leading CPD and top-quality training programmes as a Head of English
• Permanent contract starting September 2024 to be a Head of English
• MPS/UPS Outer London and negotiable TLR
• Opportunities for further progression for the Head of English

Head of English | Job Requirements:

• Minimum of a 2:1 degree in English from a Top 20 UK University
• QTS gained through PGCE/Teach First/SCITT
• Head of English must be passionate about pupils’ learning and welfare
• You must be keen to be part of the wider school community, engaging in extra-curricular activities as the Head of English
• Confident in preparing and teaching engaging lessons for GCSE pupils and A-Level students.
