The role would allow you to take ownership of the English Department; remodel the English Curriculum with the support of experienced Teachers; and work closely with members of the Senior Leadership Team with a focus on whole-school development.

• 11-18 Secondary School rated 'Good' by Ofsted
• MPS/UPS Outer London Scale & Negotiable TLR
• Access to Leading CPD Training Programmes

Head of English | Requirements:

• Minimum of a 2:1 Degree from a UK Top 20 University
• QTS gained through PGCE / Schools Direct / SCITT / Teach First
• Previous experience as an English Teacher
• Ability to demonstrate successful teaching of GCSE and A-Level English & a thorough understanding of current educational thinking
