** Head of Finance Opportunity - West Sussex **

Role with potential to progress to Finance Director

Grafton Banks Finance is looking for a competent and credible Head of Finance to join a successful and growing organisation in West Sussex, offering a friendly and cohesive culture and varied job responsibilities. This role reports to the MD and would suit a Finance Manager, Financial Controller, Management Accountant, or Accounting practice candidate with the drive to succeed. Positioned on the leadership team the Head of Finance role will support the firm through a period of growth, with potential to progress to Finance Director .

The main purpose of the role is to lead a small finance team, as well as  : -

• Managing accounting records, evaluating and managing risk, ensuring compliance with regulations, publishing financial statements, overseeing accounting operations, analysing financial data, monitoring expenditure, forecasting revenue, coordinating auditing processes, and ensuring accuracy of financial information.
• Creating reports which identifies results, trends and forecasts and enable decision making.
• Support the business with the financial strategy.

The successful candidate:

• Must be fully qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
• Strong financial modelling and excel skills.
• Monthly management accounts.
• Excellent drive and can-do attitude.
