Head Of Finance

SF Executive are working exclusively with a Derbyshire based, private equity backed, service business who are seeking a Head of Finance to join their team. Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer and managing a well-established team, you will oversee all aspects of the finance function. Alongside managing the technical elements of Finance, you will partner with the business operations team providing financial and commercial support .
The successful candidate will be a qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/ACMA or equivalent), ideally with a background of owning a finance function within a private equity setting. You will be an experienced business partner as well as technically astute with excellent communication skills.
Key skills required:
- Strategic thinker and business planner with experience in converting strategies into financial forecasts
- Ability to take a high-level strategic view alongside a willingness to get into the detail
- Lead, manage and facilitate conversations across the business with varying levels of colleagues
- Excellent stakeholder management skills and ability to build effective relationships
- A passion for coaching and developing your team to achieve business excellence
- Confident to take initiative and be a self-starter as well working as a strong team-player
