Location: Flexible, but with a weekly presence at our office in Wilton, Salisbury, SP2 0RS.

Hours: 37.5 hours
Salary: £58,000 - £62,000 per annum, including London weighting where applicable

We are seeking a dynamic finance professional to join us as Head of Finance. You will lead the team in providing high-quality financial stewardship through efficient transaction processes and systems in the UK covering both income and expenditure, effective policies and controls, and timely and accurate financial information. You will manage foreign exchange and the transfer of funds to international programme offices and partners, and lead the UK month-end process spanning both actuals and forecasts covering income, expenditure, balance sheet, cash flow, and budget holder information. The role also leads the preparation of our global consolidated year-end statutory accounts, including their audit, and heads up issues relating to taxes and insurance.
A qualified accountant, you will excel at leading change with empathy and collaboration and in a way that builds a high level of engagement and momentum with both the Finance team and our internal stakeholders. You will have a track record of driving continuous improvement and you will bring the commercial analysis and communication skills needed to influence people across an organisation. You will be passionate about developing people and be able to demonstrate an inclusive leadership style. You may have experience in the not-for-profit sector, but this is not essential.
