Head Of Finance

Twenty-Four Recruitment Group is delighted to be working with a £20 m turnover wholesale and e-commerce business in Elstree & Borehamwood which is seeking a qualified Head of Finance to take ownership and manage their accounts team. Reporting only to the MD, you will have direct reports in the transactional team and will be responsible for their development. This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious and progressive candidate to implement processes and procedures in a growing organistaion.

Type: Full Time

Pattern: Hybrid

Duties:

• Take ownership of the finance infrastructure, ensuring all processes and controls are scalable
• Overall responsibility for the general ledger, revenue & receivables to payables cycles
• Manage relationships with external accountants and liaise with them on year-end audits.
• Responsible for regulatory compliance e.g. VAT returns
• Preparation of monthly management accounts.
• Forecasting / Budgets -build and run the budget process.
• Business partnering and commercial arrangements
• Manage relationships with external payroll provider
• Sourcing and implementation of a new accounting software

Key Skills:

• Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
• Transactional finance management including invoicing responsibilities.
• Demonstrate SME/start-up experience with a background in process and control implementation.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Excellent financial modeling and Excel skills.
• Qualified accountant - ACA, ACCA or CIMA
