Head of Finance - Hertfordshire

JSS are delighted to be partnering a leading, large business based in Hertfordshire on the recruitment of an excellent Head of Finance position. This role reports into the Finance Director, manages one qualified member of staff, will manage statutory reporting, the group consolidation, audit and VAT. This Head of Finance role offers scope for progression and the chance to also manage stock, fixed assets and capex. This is an ideal role for an ACA or ACCA qualified audit trained individual looking for a Head of Finance role in a large business.

The Role:

The Head of Finance will be responsible for the following duties, as well as managing one qualified member of staff:

-Preparation of Statutory Reporting

-Managing the Group Consolidation

-Managing the Group Audit

-Tax, VAT and compliance

-Improving processes and controls

-Accounting and Reporting of Stock, Fixed Assets and Capex

-Automation of processes and systems

Profile:

We are looking for a candidate with the following experience and skill-set:

-ACA or ACCA qualified, trained in audit

-Experience of statutory reporting and group consolidations

-Experience of managing an audit/dealing with auditors

-Knowledge of UK VAT, tax and compliance

On Offer:

A salary of circa £75-80k, plus 10-15% bonus and benefits, hybrid working and the chance to manage one qualified member of staff.
