SalaryOur client, a highly established and market leading SME in Fareham, Hampshire, is seeking to recruit a progressive Financial Controller who has the potential to progress to Finance Director within a 2-3 year period.
What will the Financial Controller role involve?
- Work with the marketing/HR director and the Board, to build, report and help implement strategy for the firm and advise on strategy for the accounts team.
- Monthly management reporting, including cashflow, debtors and WIP, including the relevant variance analysis.
- Yearend management and completion, in partnership with the external Accountants.
- Preparation of and monitoring of Budgets, working closely with the senior leadership team.
- Ensure robust financial reporting, control and governance.
- Manage, develop and motivate a team of 4 in the team.
What will you need to apply for the role of Financial Controller?
- Full qualification ACA, ACCA or CIMA.
- Rounded hands-on financial control experience.
- An appetite to support Operations, as well as Finance.
- Proven track record of managing people.
