Head of Finance - Tech / Software Solutions Business

We’re recruiting on behalf of a dynamic software solutions business that is an eCommerce expert with a proven track record in web and mobile software development.

What you’ll be doing:

The Head of Finance will support the Managing Director and work across the entire business, overseeing all aspects of financial management. Responsibilities include budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and strategic planning. By working closely with the leadership team, you will develop and implement financial strategies that support business objectives and drive profitability. This hands-on role offers the opportunity to make a significant impact and shape the future of the organisation during an exciting time.

What we need you to bring to the business:

• Qualified finance professional (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) - with at least one year post qualified experience.
• Strong technical finance skills - accounts payable, accounts receivable, management accounting, statutory accounting and financial planning & analysis.
• Proven experience working with a project-based business (either directly within industry or from an auditing background).
• Proficiency in Oracle and Microsoft Office. If you have no direct experience in Oracle, you must be able to demonstrate adaptability in learning new systems
• Prior experience in a software development company is preferable but not essential.
• ‘Hands on’ attitude and able to work to tight deadlines
• A great communicator with excellent attention to detail
• Intellectually curious - excited by growth and personal development

What’s on offer in return:

• A competitive salary of £60,000 - £65,000 per annum
