They are now looking for a Head of Finance to join their team in Bristol on a full-time, permanent basis.

The Role
As the Head of Finance, you will support our client to achieve their operational and strategic priorities from a financial standpoint.
Leading and motivating the Finance Team with their day-to-day operational work, you will be the interface between them and the rest of the organisation, as well as communicating externally with stakeholders.
You will also provide a resilient and effective finance and resource function, overseeing all aspects of compliance including data protection, health and safety and contracts.
Additionally, you will:
- Provide timely and realistic financial analyses, plans and forecasts
- Play a key role in the wider leadership of the organisation
- Translate financial matters into non-technical terms
About You
To be considered as the Head of Finance, you will need:
- To be a qualified accountant with a successful track record in managing multiple work streams and effectively executing an ambitious operating plan
- Experience of successful line management and leadership
- Experience in the development and use of timely and relevant financial information, including monthly management accounts, statutory accounts, budgets and forecasts
- Experience in the development of key performance indicators
- Experience of advising a Senior Leadership Team and Trustee Board on risk management in terms of Finance, IT and legal issues
- Experience in contract management and overseeing an outsourced IT function
- Experience in developing strong working relationships across a dispersed organisation and with external partners and stakeholders
- Experience with data protection issues, and an understanding of data protection law
