Role: Head of Financial Services
Type: Permanent
Location: East Midlands - 3 days a week on site
Salary: £70 - 80k
Sellick Partnership are currently recruiting for a Head of Financial Services for our Public Sector, on a remote basis.
Key responsibilities for the Head of Financial Services are;
- To lead the production of annual accounts to meet statutory requirements, supported by high quality working papers
- To manage the provision of a secure payroll and pensions service
- Responsible for the ownership and maintenance of the Fixed Asset Register for the Organisation
- Lead cash and working capital management across the Organisation, maintaining robust cash flow reporting in line with best practice, cash management regimes and any authorised limits
- To deputise for the Deputy Director of Finance and Procurement as appropriate
The Ideal candidate for the Head of Financial Services will ;
- Be a qualified accountant
- Have Public Sector experience
- Have thorough knowledge and understanding of the principles and procedures required to produce a set of annual accounts for publication
- Be a leader and able to develop and grow a successful finance team
