The Head of Global is a new global team leadership position, to lead a team and programmes that develop and deliver Plantlife’s global conservation ambitions.

Who are we looking for?
We are looking for an experienced, inspirational leader who has the skills and drive to grow Plantlife’s influence within global frameworks, partnerships and programmes. You will be confident in networking and collaborating, able to engage diverse and high-level audiences in global fora.
You will have a strong track record in international development or substantial experience of working to influence global frameworks and/or programmes linked to sustainability, climate or biodiversity.
What will you be doing?
You will leading, developing and implementing Plantlife’s global strategy, enhancing our conservation influence and direct impactful activity in the pursuit of multi-sector and trans-national action for wild plants and fungi.
You will inspire our Global Team to be focused, creative and efficient, and as a member of Plantlife’s Leadership Group you will foster an organisation-wide culture that is courageous, agile, impactful and supportive.
The location for this role is flexible within the UK. The role can be home- based or we have offices in Salisbury or Retford if a hybrid arrangement or office base is preferred. Some international and domestic travel will be required, the frequency of which will vary.
