For these key areas the role scope includes: playing a key role in the Group’s forecasting and budgeting/planning process; developing and preparing monthly performance reporting as part of broader Group Executive Committee and Board reporting as well as presentation to Group Cost Management Committee; analysis and accounting judgment to Audit Committee on Group Remediation items; partnering the Reward team; and supporting external reporting of Group results.
Day to day you’ll be;

  • Assessing Group remediation programmes through collaboration with programme, legal, operations and finance teams, ensuring compliance with IAS 37 including appropriate disclosures in the external results.
  • Presenting management reports to senior management, ensuring that results and issues are well understood and explained.
  • Preparing external analysis for investors and analysts to assist their understanding of the Group and its performance.
  • Working with and influencing Divisional and Central teams, providing guidance and direction.
  • Driving improvements to the processes including control, automation and insight, as well as broader activities including Strategic Workforce Planning.
  • Building and maintaining a successful team to ensure colleagues are led and developed effectively, utilising the Group’s Your Best principles.
  • Contributing to establishing a clear common purpose across the team of c.45 colleagues.

About us
We’re on an exciting journey to transform our Group and the way we’re shaping finance for good. We’re focusing on the future, investing in our technologies, workplaces, and colleagues to make our Group a great place for everyone. Including you.
What you’ll need

  • Ability to develop a team of finance professionals: leading by example with a growth mindset; establishing objectives; and driving a performance management culture through excellent coaching
  • Building strong working relationships across diverse partners, including senior management with a collaborative approach to delivery, but retaining willingness and ability to challenge

And any experience of these would be really useful
  • Breadth of knowledge across the relevant businesses of Lloyds Banking Group and wider Financial Services industry, including understanding economic, regulatory and social trends.
